The first key processing machines we built were rotary table constructions. That changed with the construction of our first HEIkey proline in the year 2002 for our client ABUS Pfaffenhain, which had a linear structure with a linear transfer. In the following years until now, 15 other HEIkey proline machines left HEITEC Auerbach in order to process keys in various companies and countries - each of them adjusted to the customer´s specific needs and requirements. The development of our HEIkey marked the beginning of a new machine generation: modular construction in a firm pattern, diverse processing stations, a reversing linear transfer system, integrated robot systems and extensive possibilities for post-processing and the connection with subsequent processes. The new concept convinces with various aspects: significantly lower space requirement of the machines, shorter cycle times can be realized, and it is possible to amend the systems afterwards due to new requirements. Of course, our proline has undergone several optimizations and further developments in the course of the time – so that we can proudly present an efficient, up-to-date and reliable system. Currently, digitalization and industry 4.0 is a huge topic which is placing new requirements and opportunities regarding our machines as well as their environment. Thus, our machines can be linked with other systems or processes, and they provide up-to-date data regarding the project course or single processes. Furthermore, they transmit error messages to higher-level systems.
Well-known companies in the lock and key industry in Germany and abroad are convinced of the functioning and performance of our HEIkey proline, such as ABUS, ASSA, DORMAKABA, WILKA, CES or BASI.
